Ed Wort's Apfelwein

Making this for Emilie...should be ready by the time she's finished being pregers.

5 gallons apple juice
2 lbs dextrose

Red Star Champagne Yeast

8-1-2010--That was easy.
8-3-2010--This looks soooooo good.
8-13-2010--Kegged. Dry with a hint of apple sweetness. Ummmmmmmy!

  1. Dude! I was about to make this today and I couldn't find any yeast and all the brew shops were closed today. I heard this recipe even won awards. How is it a month later? Or do you still even have any? How long did you ferment? -Ian
